If you think Union is doing anything to help you are mistaken. It’s all on the player and parents.
You know Brave is not doing it. They have 15 playing at the next level in 3 years.
I only have a senior left and not with either club but if I had an ECNL player entering recruiting years I would try and break into the VDA team. VDA has a decent recruiting network and they brought Bobby over who is the absolute best recruiter in the area. Hands down. And VDA rosters aren’t huge so your kid will actually get to play. Take my word for it. Go to an ID session and see if she can break onto their team. May be tricky because I’m pretty sure FCV players may be looking there too. I think being player 13-14 on VDA is better than player 9-10 on union. That’s just my take from watching the soccer landscape over the past 7 years
It’s amazing! Just by switching employers, BP went from the most loathed person on this board to the most beloved.
BP will be found out in the ECNL. He struggled when PDA, Courage and Charlotte were in the DA kicking his butt each week. FCV parents were fighting on the sidelines when they had competition. FCV players were over recruited because of the competition.

No way. VDA has commits to UCLA, UVA, Stanford, Tennessee, NC state and dozens of other big schools. Not to mention they have a player actually playing on the U17 USYNT. They were doing just fine. BP is going to make them the best club as far as recruiting goes. Too bad they play in the middle of nowhere.
Those commits would be going there regardless of VDA. People want to tout VDA as the destination for development but the eye test just backs up what people have said about that club for years. Their style of play is nothing special, thankfully another MA ECNL club makes all their matches public for all to see including ones against all these NoVA teams.

You had me until the last two sentences, its better to be first 11 anywhere in NoVa (cause its all watered down anyways) than being on the bench, duh! So no VDA would not be better if you weren't first 11, nice try silly
