"We will immediately stop all of the pillaging and theft," Trump said. "Very simply, if you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store. Shot!"

It would be interesting to see what happened in the minutes before. The police officer sounds really scared. I'm sure the context of why the officer did it played into why the charges were dropped but I can't find any video that shows the preceeding events. In general, I'm at the point where I think we should give officers the benefit of the doubt because their jobs have become so dangerous and our cities are becoming lawless.

Their Pavlovian response to images of POC either looting stores or entering the country illegally is immediate and intense. I truly believe that, if given a choice, many in the GOP would happily dismantle our democracy and their basic rights if they were promised that looters and undocumented migrants would be dealt with swiftly and permanently (if you catch my meaning).
What's even more fascinating are the mental gymnastics employed by Dems like you to excuse away or ignore the mass invasion of our country by illegal immigrants storming our borders. Just be honest - you don't think the USA has a right to self autonomy and a well defined border. You don't think we should be allowed to have strict immigration control like every other country on Earth.
If any other country in the world had the same levels of illegal immigration as we do, they'd be both peeved and on the verge of collapse.
Your post just is more proof beyond a doubt that Democrats are for open borders despite how much your party tries to say otherwise.
So these teens in Philly are now illegal immigrants?
You people just make up crap all day long.
They do make up stuff all day long, but on this point they’re just hateful critters. Immigration is far off topic but they’ve worked themselves into such a lather about it that they can’t stop bringing it up even when it’s completely irrelevant.
Actually of their spittle inflected points makes any sense. There are a lot of right wingers who have been sarcastically making the points they think Democrats would make, but no Democrats have been defending this.
The right wingers are so mad about Black and Brown people that they don’t realize how transparent their bigotry is.
They have to make up an imaginary argument. They spend a lot of time making up liberals positions. It’s tiresome.
There is a little button at the top of this message that reads “Click to show earlier quotes”. Do it. You will see that a pp referenced illegal immigrants and it was THAT message to which pp was responding.
