Gosh you’re so excited that covid cases are (barely) ticking up.
Some people just loved the COVID lifestyle and are salivating at the thought of stay at home orders and mask mandates returning. LOCK ME DOWN HARDER, DADDY GOVERNMENT!

Could you say where/are they taking new biz or is this some private hair cutter situation? I find the Maga babes working at the salons to be the worst. I had one telling me in 2021 how she didn’t need the Covid vax bc she got the SARS 1 vax years ago which covered Covid and Obama had made a disaster of SARS 1. Fascinating that Obama had power over SARS in 03 or that she was vaccinated for it when a vax was never made and that vax covered a SARS strain that emerged some 16 yrs later.
The maga babe is probably having a much happier life than you.
Exactly. I thought the left was supposed to be so tolerant of everyone? So inclusive?? Where is the inclusiveness for those who think differently than you? OH YEAH. You only care if they believe the same crap as you do. That's not inclusiveness. You're stereotyping and being racist.

If I feel like I have been exposed to COVID or another pathogen (coughing child at a school performance etc), I will make sure that I do a nasal flush with xylitol and a gargle. This is proven to reduce any viruses that might be present in mouth and sinuses.
It’s simply science. Masking these days is performative or indicative of a person’s mental imbalance. I feel terrible for them, especially children when I run into families still masking.
Not correct. Masks work if everyone uses them properly. Which a lot of people didn't in the US during the height of covid, which contributed to the perception that masks don't work. People still mask who are sick, or immune compromised. It's not performative, it's an attempt at self-preservation. And your nasal flush nonsense isn't helpful.
WRONG. They DO NOT WORK. Period. If they did, why haven't humans been wearing masks since the dawn of time to prevent illness? THEY DO NOT WORK. JFC you people need help. Stay in your basement with your masks, nitrate gloves, and keep sanitizing your groceries.

BUT they do have a realization that this is a new virus, it is being linked to things like neuro decline and cardiac events, and no one really knows for sure what the risk will be a decade or two from now of having had it many times. So they are trying to prevent as many occurrences as they can.
AND they largely have the life circumstances to be able to do it - remote or very hybrid work; no one goes to school/daycare in their home; a spouse on the same page and with the same work situation. If they want to mask up, why is everyone SO bothered?
If you can't do it because you want to travel with your kids before they launch for college in 2 years or you don't want to ruin anyone's senior year harping on covid or you have kids in daycare, that's fine too.
But certain people - and certain cultures - play for decades and generations, not just for this summer and this fall.
There are also risks from other illnesses and coronaviruses but these people weren’t masking. They are only concerned with these unknown risks because they heard about it on the news. If the news started sharing about the unknown risks from strep or the flu, they’d be very concerned about those illnesses too. These people are basically sheep and follow whatever fear mongering the media shares with them. The same people still masking might be overweight, drink alcohol, lead pipes in their homes etc.
