No. You load ticketmaster as you normally would for TS and then keep refreshing. I've gotten in twice without issues to look at the map for seats, just to see how the process was. I don't need or plan on buying tickets because we already saw her in Philly. It does work if you can get in at the perfect time, before someone else.
It actually depends on the venue. Some locations are only selling to verified fans.

I am going to give it a go for Pitt one more time. A few days out do I log in to Ticketmaster, on a phone (on app or just online) or computer? Do I refresh or just wait for map to show seats?
Tickets for last weekend's Chicago shows dropped on Thursday afternoon (I think it was around 4:30 or 5:00) and then Friday around 3:00. If you are going to have any chance at getting them, you need to keep refreshing the "sorry, no tickets are available online at this time" page. If tickets drop, you'll be able to join the queue and possibly get tickets. I don't personally know anyone who got tickets from the last minute drop, but people in a Facebook group were saying they got lucky. They were gone quickly so at least you don't have to sit in a queue all night. I got kicked out after 30-45 minutes.

Don't waste any time outside of the venue in LOOONG lines for merchandise. Go inside the stadium, the line is significantly shorter (10 minutes for us and we arrived at 630pm) and we got what we wanted. There are multiple merchandise locations inside the stadium. If you don't care for the opening acts, use that time to use the restroom and buy drinks/food/take pics. Enjoy!
My kids have been waiting for merchandise for over 30 mins and still have a long way to go, and they are inside.
Don't miss the show! Merchandise is also open after the show.
Everything sold out fast. They were letting people buy 30 shirts at once.

Right by the diamond floor seats to are now $5,000-$6,000. A few days ago seats were selling for over $10,000.
Praying that Pittsburgh starts dropping soon!
Old geezer here. Just checked out the recent concert on Youtube on my 120 inch projector and expensive speakers. Seems like standard concert. truly do not understand the hoopla and cost of these tickets. It is free on Youtube, fans record and post it.

You can't possibly compare being in your backyard streaming poor quality youtube videos to being in a stadium with 70,000 swifties.
I can't believe anyone thinks the show is worth these insane prices.
It was the best show I have ever been too and I am unlikely to ever forget it.
I've seen shows like that for around $200/ticket, and not nosebleeds.
No. Just no.
Oh, but I have. Garth Brooks for one.
I am an 80's teen. Bon Jovi? HUGE fan. I felt like I couldn't breathe through the first part of the show... as an adult. There were tears during some songs just from the emotion, especially the song that was played at the funerals of two different classmates.
