Now that' some serious brainwash.
Hello, Republican voter. Care to share which policies are beneficial to the working class? I’ve asked a few times and none of you seems able to articulate an answer.
I just told you. Policies that reduce the tax bite on the working class.
Policies that reduce regulations that cause businesses to close or relocate overseas to areas more conducive to the business. That also affects unemployment.
Policies that strengthen law enforcement against repeat criminals. Theft and graft cause businesses to eventually give up, close franchises and leave municipalities. They may put up with crimes that are uncharged for some time (like until the lease runs out), but not forever.
Have I answered your question satisfactorily? In a moment, you'll be connected to complete a brief survey.....
This is all fiction tho. Republicans have placed MORE tax burden on the working class, by decreasing taxes on the ultra wealthy and mega corporations and shifting it onto the rest of us.
Deregulation has led to MORE PROBLEMS for communities, like coal ash and other horrific pollution issues, worker safety issues and so on. We should NOT be in a race to the bottom with third world countries on poor conditions. As for crime the right wing claims to be anti-crime yet they refuse to do anything about horrific gun crimes and mass shootings, they refuse to acknowledge or do anything about things like the meth epidemic running rampant through red states, they refuse to acknowledge or address the underlying causes of crimes, they refuse to acknowledge serious problems in policing and law enforcement, they refuse to acknowledge that violently attacking the US Capitol was a crime, or that it was criminally wrong for Trump and FOX News and other right wing outlets to repeatedly make false claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
Yeah, so the GOP offers the working class nothing at all. As I thought.

The Dem policies that would negatively affect them, they sidestep. For example, put their kids in private schools.
My kids went to public school. I make (not HHI) $800K a year. I believe in public schools. I live in DC. I also pay higher taxes b/c I've been lucky and want to support others less fortunate than myself.
How much extra do you donate to government on DC and federal tax forms?
I donate plenty through my income taxes.
Which you are required to do. If you want to support others less fortunate, you should be adding to that on your federal and DC tax forms.

Anonymous wrote:Rich people support Dems because overall, they have been better for the economy overall than Republicans have. Sure, Republicans give the rich tax breaks but then they enact other stupid policies that hamstring progress, whether academic, social, government investment and economic or otherwise. Sorry Republicans but there is more to it than just giving rich people tax breaks.

It's because the Democratic Party has abandoned the economic issues that actually help poor people. They'd way rather virtue signal than actually require the wealthy to make any sacrifices.
Which Republican policies help the working class?
Me again. Any Republicans want to answer which of their economic policies help the working class?
Less government always favors the middle class. Too much regulation and redistributive policy damages the economy and the middle class because government misallocates funds far more poorly than the earner. What government does, it does poorly and wastes most of the money it spends. It can't be in all places knowing every decision individual consumers make and why they make those decisions. Therefore, it wastes money by dumping it on problems and starves consumers of better choices by mandates and subsidies. In short, central planning from ivory towers bring terrible results.
Too bad Republicans have abandoned this fact... and Democrats never knew about it.
Are you equating the middle class with the working class?
