If having a family is important to you, your 20s are the time to set that up. And do you think being career military inhibits settling down and starting a family? If anything, they start earlier -- even officers. Also, what, suddenly we're taking into the account the importance of the work you're doing? That wasn't part of the conversation for women.

And sure, to some extent it's a different timeline. But it doesn't sound like it's working for him. So really not that different, apparently.
