I wish they would rope in some of the people that benefitted from the fraud as well taking Amr's passports. You have to be blind to think he was acting in good faith to anything.

I believe it is the State Attorney requesting the delay. It would make sense for the State to want to have time for as much as possible come out from the various investigations that are happening, it may also shake out information from others that start worrying about their own exposure. Thus I feel this benefits the State. On the Omar side, I guess he is potentially trading a couple extra months of freedom now for a potentially longer sentence as the more time the State has the stronger their case becomes. IMO

Quick check of the Maryland Judiciary Case Search seems to indicate that all of the 6/12 cases got postponed again.

Big day for Omar coming up. Five of the fifteen felony theft cases are scheduled for trial Monday 6/12. Guess we will see if they progress, get delayed, or Omar cuts a deal. If not, and they progress we finally get to hear from Omar on what or who was the magical cause of all the project failures and why keeping and spending the money on other things was perfectly acceptable - in his mind.

Well I would think the court wouldn’t look too kindly upon him ignoring court orders!
Perhaps if mom and dad have to hand over their cars the 5500$/month rent payments may stop!
