Conservatives everywhere have denounced this horrible attack - you can stop spinning your false narrative. Far more conservatives, in fact, have genuinely condemned it than liberals did when Rand Paul was viciously attacked. But I get that it’s convenient to never mention that.

This offers some insight.
Lol conservatives have already lost the narrative on this story.
DePape has two recent blogs that regurgitate basically every MAGA rightwing conspiracy theory and talking point from the last 6 years. He was a homeless, mentally ill, drug addict….who was also radicalized by rightwing messaging in recent years.
None of these elements are exclusive of each other.
He's a nudist advocate too.

He sounds like he latched onto whatever extreme cause is most exciting at the moment.
I live in the SF Bay Area. I remember the nudist issue back in 2012. We were relatively new to the area and thought it was crazy back then, but now it’s not shocking for the area. It was a big deal for nudists because the city was trying to put restrictions on things like bare booties touching public seats like park benches and bus seats, and there was some restriction to do with being nude in restaurants. It seemed appropriate and minor to me, but I get how if you’re used to being able to do a thing legally and the government suddenly tries to place restrictions it could be upsetting. It wasn’t a violent issue or anything, just some naked people protesting about wearing clothes. It reminded me of how people would protest wearing seatbelts after seatbelt laws were passed more than anything. It was an issue practically everyone had an opinion about, and it got a big reaction on the news because it was about naked people and I’m pretty sure the restrictions said genitals and anus, so of course it’s going to get lots of attention. I don’t know how involved he got, but taking a pro nudity stance during that time isn’t necessarily an extremist position. Definitely not an indication that he’s on the verge of beating someone with a hammer.

He was yelling “where’s Nancy“ while he tried to beat her husband to death. Not drugs. Not homelessness. Just evil. AKA, MAGA. Now, we can sit back and watch MAGA say he had it coming.
This poster was 100% right. MAGA ARE just a hideous breed

Looks like Youngkin didn’t get the memo.
He condemned it as well. As you know.
Youngkin is despicable MAGA trash. He doubled down this evening when given the chance to apologize and clarify his comments. Unclear what his fleece vest thought of this. Just as Jesus preached to his disciples I guess.
He didn't "double down" on anything. Do go on, though.
“As the governor clearly said, the assault on Paul Pelosi was wrong and there is no place for violence,” a spokesperson from the Governor’s Office said. “He wishes him a full recovery and is keeping the Pelosi family in his prayers.”
