Hope they don't go home to polonium in their underwear.
Note the gasligting calling the Ukrainians Nazi's when their president is....Jewish.
Just 12 months ago the NYT had articles attacking the Ukranian government for including far-right, pro-Nazi groups...how fast some forget!
If you asked all Americans about Ukraine I am pretty sure this would be the results:
90% unable to find it on a map
90% know no one from Ukraine
95% know nothing about its history
That being said 95% would say they support giving them weapons to fight Russia. Nothing really to do with Ukraine.
Why? Americans just hate Russia and Russians in general. Not that we know any typically, it’s just our thing. If aliens invaded earth we would probably side with the aliens if they attacked Russia first.
You're so wrong about Americans' motivations to support Ukraine. It's not because they hate Russia, it's because they hate bullies. Ukraine did nothing wrong to provoke this invasion. Frankly, I think you already know this, but you're just trying to spread propaganda to influence people.
99% Americans don't know anything about the relationship between Ukraine and Russia. Independently, they don't know anything about who did what wrong. They were told what to think. Come on.

+100
Also, Americans love an underdog story. We love the lowly Indiana Hoosiers upsetting the big dogs to win an NCAA championship. We love a David slaying a Goliath. We love the scrappy Americans colonialists or scrappy Irish fighting off the British colonial powers.
Ukraine is definitely the underdog in this fight.

It appears that the strength of the Russian military has been greatly exaggerated. I dare say that most of the world believed that Russian military might was close to, or same, as the US. Ukraine recovering territory from Russian troops basically waving a white flag.
How could Putin have made such a disastrous decision? I

800 billion budget vs 65 billion budget? Who would think that was close?

And there are neo-Nazi factions everywhere in Europe, and particularly so in Eastern Europe. No disputes there either.
But just like MAGAs are not America, Ukrainian neo-Nazis are not Ukraine.
I don't think you, or any other person solo, can say what America is. America is many things, and a far-right religious fundamentalist person voting MAGA in Texas is every bit as American as a Lululemon-clad lefty UMC woman in Whole Foods. I get that you think your claim on American-ness is legit and hers isn't, but you are both American.
Overturning election results is illegal and un american.
That's not what pains you; what pains you is that a large swath of America does not support your vision of what America ought to be.
I am fine with that. We settle our differences at the ballot box. I did not support trump in 2016 but I accepted the result instead of beating the crap out of some coo with a flag pole.
You make it sound like everyone who voted differently was beating the crap out of cops.
