That electricity has to come from somewhere to power those EVs. 60% of which is from fossil fuels.
We have solar panels. We've had them for 5 years and we were generating significantly more than we needed. That led us to buy an EV since we would rather use as much of our solar generated electricity as we can. We still get money back.
