People who bike, take mass transit or own EV's.

None of whom are typical Trump voters.

EV owner here. Yes, we are not suffering at the pump. However, we are suffering in so many other ways because we live in a petro country. We cannot escape the cost of the madness just by owning an EV. EVERYTHING will cost more.

That electricity has to come from somewhere to power those EVs. 60% of which is from fossil fuels.

Our electricity provider got a 11% rate increase approved in December, now they have applied for a 12% natural gas increase with 10.66% approved for interim ( the interim amount is always about what gets approved after a year of public comment and hearings). I expect that will allow them to add a fuel cost adjustment to the electrical rates for any natural gas-powered electricity, which could mean a total 22% effective electricity increase along with the almost 11% gas increase.

War in the Middle East is having an uneven impact on global economies but “all roads” lead to higher prices and slower economic growth, an influential economic body has warned.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF), which advises on policy and gives financial aid to member countries, said it was stepping up support, especially to the most vulnerable economies.

The war’s impact is “both global and highly uneven”, with some countries likely to face a renewed cost-of-living squeeze, IMF economists wrote in a blog post on Monday.

The US has eased oil sanctions on Russia and Iran in an attempt to contain soaring energy prices but there are still fears that the economic damage from the war could be so great that it could cause a global recession.

If he and enough of his peers didn't vote for the meme-worthy President, he'd still have a job. He's also going to find out there isn't any new jobs waiting for him on the other side.

Oh I know. Maybe it's a good lesson for the young men out there. Maybe they will remember. I experienced a recession at that age and it make me very cautious.

“U.S. pending home sales just hit the lowest levels ever for the month of February.

NAR reported a contract signing index of 72.1.

This was 28% below normal February levels, down from last year.

And 13% lower than February 2009, the depths of the last financial crash.

We're mired in the biggest U.S. housing demand depression in history, and it keeps getting worse.

The solution? Lower prices.”
