PP here. I'm a vegetarian from NJ, think guns should be banned altogether, and think youth contact sports are dangerous. I just can't relate. Kelly was an astronaut and he supports gun control more strongly than Walz. He would have been perfect.

And I am a vegetarian in Florida and think Walz was exactly the right choice. Kelly is great on paper and a total stiff in front of a crowd. Walz is actually a very warm and likable human - and guess what, the VP doesn't need to have every policy align precisely with yours. But if you need perfection, and a complete overlap in positions, then gd help you! And gd help all of us.
