Women have a right to life, liberty and property. All of those rights are implicate sin any attempt by the government to prevent her from accessing abortion.

If you forced me to give birth to a child I knew had very little chance, could you force me to make that child suffer through surgeries and other interventions after birth?
This is all so messed up.
Don't forget the cherry on top!!! YOU get to pay for it. For years and years. You will now be financially responsible for a child that has survived but needs around the clock medical care just to sustain life. Feeding tubes oxygen all of it and guess who gets to pay. You do!. Guess what happens to your other children?....... They're going to suffer because all of your financial, emotional, and physical resources will be on trying to keep this one child alive. What cost?

Yes, millions of babies, many from Black and Hispanic families, being aborted.
Millions of living, breathing WOMEN who were safely able to end their pregnancy.
Millions of WOMEN who weren't forced to continue a pregnancy or give birth against their will.
Millions of WOMEN who were able to make medical decisions with their doctors without religious fanatics forcing their beliefs on them.
I'm a woman. MOST women out of the 60+ million who aborted their babies werent forced to have sex, get pregnant, and have medical issues. Many of those women need to think smarter and quit using abortion as a means to get rid of a baby.
In every case, these women got pregnant when they didn’t want to be. No birth control is 100% effective, or even medically possible for some women. For example me. I cannot take hormonal birth control. Im married with children. I cannot risk pregnancy again, I would be terrified if I became pregnant again. But barring never having sex with my husband again, it could happen. I would choose abortion. Many women find themselves in similar situations. Accidents happen. Abortion need to be available, particularly in the first trimester. This ruling would take that option away. It is unacceptable and dangerous. A women’s reasons are her own business.
60+ million abortions did not occur for the types of circumstances you noted. Too many occur for no other reason than precautions not taken.
Hey, forced birther - the GOP just voted down help to get baby formula. Forced birthers clearly just think of pregnancy and children as punishments.
The persons who think like you are the ones viewing babies as punishment.
Ah, you think the old “I’m rubber, you’re glue” insult will erase decades of forced birthers’ opposition to caring for pregnant women, infants, children and their general disregard for life? Just because you have drunk the Kool Aid doesn’t mean everyone else shares your culty beliefs.
Regardless of any name-calling on your part, people who are opposed to abortion on demand are not viewing children as a punishment.

Sorry, you don't get to insert yourself into a decision between a woman and her doctor. You don't get to force your will on women's bodies.
There are many laws that we may or may not like. I'm not forcing my will on you.
Yes, you are. You want to FORCE your extremist religious beliefs on all women's (and children's) bodies. Against their will.
And YOU want YOUR views to be the law.
No she wants basic human autonomy.

If you believe in god, god killed 3 of my babies by miscarriage. You want to save babies? Pump money into preventing the 25% of pregnancies that end in miscarriage. God is a far more prolific killer of fetuses than abortion doctors.
In fact if you count all the conceptions that don't make it past a couple weeks, it's much higher than 25%. At least 50%. Definitely a weird thing to do, to create all those "persons" and then let them die. Does an embryo soul go straight to heaven?

And because of that, you think you get to take the rights of all women away entirely? That’s what this decision would allow. It is not the state’s job to second guess these decisions.

Exactly. I want to make decisions about my own body and life without other forcing their religious views on me.
Do you also think every parent should have the "basic autonomy" to rear and discipline their children in whatever manner they choose? I don't. As an educator, I've seen firsthand how some parent. Laws are made for all kinds of reasons that aren't based on a religion.
Wow, your logic is really … not good.
Do you know what autonomy means?
I get that you want to dismiss a viewpoint that differs from yours. Yes, I understand the meaning of autonomy
No I’m not dismissing your viewpoint, I’m questioning the relevance of the conversation you’re having with yourself. There is no analogy to be made between the right to choose medical care for yourself, and the right to discipline children. It’s almost like you have no idea what it’s like to be a woman, much less a pregnant one.
It's not just about the right to choose medical care, and you know it
