SJC is the reining WCAC Champion, not Gonzaga.

I expect the top 3 in the WCAC will be Gonzaga or PVI this year.

PVI is a strong team and may beat GZ this year. Landon up 9-4 in 4th and made a few uncharacteristic turnovers on offense and penalties resulting in man down goals for PVI. Great game for both teams to start the season.

9:32 PP here. Thanks for the club feedback! Really appreciate it.

Landon winning by 1 is much better than losing by 1. The loss of their FOGO from last year will test the entire Landon team and coaching staff. It is true that Paul VI lost by at least 10 to Bullis, but that was only a scrimmage. Congrats to Landon on the victory and may the games begin!!!!!

Not sure you can read too much into a scrimmage, but I do think bullies will win the iac this year.

The Bullis dad is back already? How many beers did you have before watching the Landon game?

Not a good sign for Landon if they only beat PVI by a goal.

Landon 9, Paul VI 8

This was the same Paul VI team Bullis dominated in a scrimmage a week ago.

For being so hyped up in the pre-season rankings, Bullis is playing a soft out of conference schedule.

There are a few teams on their schedule the Heights JV team would beat!

How does Next Level compare to Cabs and MadLax?

Depends on birth year. NL 23's destroy both. ML 22 beats NL22 but VLC 22 is much weaker than both. VLC at older ages can be very good.

That said, we are aware that field space is always a challenge for clubs and we likely will need to drive a bit so are open to suggestions. (But, agreed, PP - Baltimore would be too far.) I think that we could swing closer-in Alexandria, Arlington, Reston/Great Falls/Herndon, Falls Church, NW DC, MAYBE Loudoun if practices are close to the toll road, etc. MAYBE Bethesda if close-in - but not Rockville, Poolesville.

Thank you.

I know that many parents in Alexandria consider Top Caliber Lacrosse to be a good "low key" alternative to Madlax. Top Caliber is run by a few of the Robinson H.S. coaches.

Lacrosse club choice will be affected by where you live (if you live in Leesburg, you don't want to travel to Baltimore)
