That's a brazen lie by someone in the FBI - FBI was given intel of potential threat from multiple sources, social media is full of posts where they planned and coordinated, and FBI even had a CI who was live-tweeting what was going on during the attack.
There needs to be an investigation of the FBI to find out who was involving in squashing the intel and providing false reports that there was no threat.
