I agree with everything she said except that the reason the government pursued this was for the blackmail tapes. Like cartel leader level involvement.
Oh my ! The stupidity of the american population. Diddy is heavily involved in the drug trade and yet the American government can't nail him? The same government that has no problem securing the extradition of heads of states? It's too bad people like you arr able to reproduce .
I find this response indicates that you are an awful, rude, non American interloper
I'd be shocked if that happens. The prosecution wants the max for him but came up with a recommended sentence of 51 to 63 months (approximately 4 to 5 years). There's a sentencing table that uses a grid to match offense level and criminal history to a recommended sentencing range in months. They also added as many enhancements as they could (these increase the offense level and lead to a longer recommended sentence), and that's the number they came up with.Anonymous wrote:He could get 20 years sentence and that would be almost as good as life as he would be 75 and long forgotten.
Well then, it's unfortunate that the defense acknowledged the violence; that's why the judge said he considered it.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It didn't have to be.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Did you see the Cassie video?Anonymous wrote:The vulgar and graphic way the prosecution tried this case probably contributed to the acquittal. I think the jury saw it for what it was, an attempt to embarrass diddy. Also, they basically outed him as bisexual, which may have offended some jurors. This trial came across to many as a witch hunt and prosecution through PR. Even using DV allegations to deny diddy’s bail is a reach. If I were diddy, I’d sue when this was all said and done.
Why do people keep mentioning the Cassie video? Diddy was not on trial for what he did on the video. The video showed that Diddy isn't a good guy, and that he may have history for domestic violence but he wasn't on trial for the video.
Right, I’m the original pp they were talking to. The norm for the prostitution charge for which diddy was found guilty is bail while awaiting sentencing and a low security camp like facility if the sentencing ends up requiring time (most get probation). Diddy is currently in a much higher security facility (i.e worse facility) than he should be based on the charge. The judge is keeping him there for 90 days while awaiting sentencing by relying on facts that weren’t relevant to the charge. The dv video is not related to the transportation for prostitution charge. If you’re just looking at the law itself, it’s an abuse of process.
Sure but it was only entered into evidence by the prosecution to support the sex trafficking charges that the jury ultimately rejected. It's like the prosecution’s smear campaign worked. That’s what this entire trial was about.

Everyone in hip hop has known he’s been gay for 30 years. Why do you think 50 Cent has been calling him gay for 20 years? 50 Cent just called him the gay John Gotti. lol

I brought it up because that person said 'DV allegations'. I don't care what he was on trial for, the domestic violence is not alleged. We saw him beating Cassie's ass. Diddy even put out an apology video. There's nothing alleged about it. And the judge considered that fact in his bail decision.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Did you see the Cassie video?Anonymous wrote:The vulgar and graphic way the prosecution tried this case probably contributed to the acquittal.
