Writers just write. And great directors often throw their stuff away. See Kubrick. It’s the exec directors and directors who are supposed to have a creative vision and carry it out. If the writers don’t deliver, the directors throw their stuff away, fire them, rehire and try again
Well then, they are all rubbish if you ask me. I just like watching so I can bust on it later. Carrie: nobody cares that you are finally giving up your apartment (although before its makeover it was one of the only things that kept Carrie human). The characters are all just a vomit pit of wealth and privilege constantly. Which makes them and the show super one dimensional. I hope she loses it all in having to pay Big’s back taxes.

The entire Last Supper was a self-indulgent, self-focused, privileged mess.
Samantha's cameo was super lame.
That said, I think this season turned out to be a lot better than the first and I will definitely be signing up for Season 3.
Totally agree with all of this, especially the self-indulgent last supper.
There was one line though about a stain on the ceiling, and Carrie said "not my problem now." Was anybody else waiting for something more to develop out of that, like the ceiling collapsing on everything from a leak?
I was hoping for it. Would have been more interesting.

There is so much more they can do!! Especially Nya— I feel like my TV (and my face) light up when she’s on the screen. She has an adorable, mischievous, sexy energy that would have been perfect for the original SATC. I feel similarly for LTW. Also, I totally don’t get how anyone can think that LTW’s husband seems shady! Chris Jackson is adorable with the voice of an angel (The OG George Washington from Hamilton)!

Anonymous wrote:Seema is the worst now. She’s incredibly boring and one dimensional. Whining about a man and saying “I love you” and fretting - this doesn’t sound like her at all. She’s now being written as low self esteem and low confidence with men. And sorry but she’s too old for that guy - no one that age would go for Seema. He’s already in love with her? Yeah right. I’m not feeling it.
