I posted the TB post. My point is that when you reduce the spread to a very low level due to vaccination, then the draconian measures (everything closed, etc) and stop. And 25 cases per 100K is a low level. I guarantee you that we have more people walking around with TB then with Covid in this county, and we haven’t shut down.
I'm 2019, there were 8900 new TB cases in the US, or 2.7 per 200k over the entire year.

We have a lot of covid right now. It's decreasing, which is good, and we'll be returning to normal this year, probably this summer. That's great news.

In fact, if you look at the FFX County Health Dept site, they have happy phrases like “As long as there is TB in the world, we will have it in Fairfax County”. This excuses away how a disease is getting here. Yes, it matters.

If the vaccines stop deaths, then reduction in infections doesn’t really matter. People get sick all the time with other illnesses and don’t die. Reducing Covid to that level is a gamechanger

This is great (consistent with Israel study). Both studies were on Pfizer. Any similar studies on moderna? I get vaccinated tomorrow!
