I think Brandon posts any time he does any parenting—which seems to only be the fun/easy stuff—and maybe that’s why Jen makes all of the passive aggressive remarks about being a single mom.

I agree. My ex-husband is same way. After I purchased all dorm items, made sure all form/applications were prepared, turned in and accepted, PAID TUITION, HOUSING AND FEES, he would swoop in, carry a few loads, take a bunch of pictures and look like dad of the year on FB.

Brandon has a two part podcast interview coming out next week.

You maybe on to something. Interesting observation. Brandi is very opportunistic and looks for the photo opp when he posts. I suppose all of us do to some degree, though.

Poor Ben. At least my parents loved me enough to let me leave home with their blessing and support. Jen is way too clingy and this is unhealthy.

Is part of her angst maybe related to Tyler issues and conveniently Ben is moving "off" to college?

Poor Remy. As the parent of a high functioning autistic child, it is somewhat challenging to help them communicate appropriately and to express and receive love. Jen's bio kids are all neurotypical and except for Caleb, excellent students/teachers' pets. Ben is as easygoing as they come. And here comes Remy with her trauma and her mental struggles. It must have been so tough to be that one kid who just doesn't fit. And spoiling her isn't a solution or remotely helpful.

"whole lot of drama for a kid she was only away from for a few hours—the same kid she left for a month to go to Me Camp."

I sure hope Ben didn’t feel pressured to stay close for college so he could continue in his role as emotional spouse to Jen. She gushed how much he’s been her partner in life since the divorce helping her maintain their home and her sanity. Doesn’t bode well he didn’t even make it 2 hours before heading home to do laundry. Guess the dorm room was a unnecessary splurge. It’s hard to break free of that hero complex, hope he figures it all out.

Ben, with his few tubs of belongings, didn't really need any parent help for move-in, especially since he is a boy and has few belongings and only flags for decor.

I’m half ancient and my parents moved me to college back in the day. It’s the norm at Texas State for parents to move kids in, even all of the kids from the Austin area. It’s just a whole lot of drama for a kid she was only away from for a few hours—the same kid she left for a month to go to Me Camp.

It wasn't the next day ... it was 2 hours later! Maybe they should have saved their dorm money!

And all the corn-eaters think its adorable!

Jen’s list of easiest things she did yesterday - moved Ben into college.

As Brandon’s Instagram showed him moving Ben into college, I don’t know if she and Brandon were both involved in it, or Brandon actually did the moving and she stood on her porch and waved good by.

Yes. I was blocked after offering, what I thought was a very thoughtful and respectful reply offering a different point of view. This was 8-9 years ago. And I went to their church!!!
