Between the Indy suspension leading to the Briar lose and the Riverside Indy elimination game. Freeman not living up to the hype. Kellam losing their best offensive threat to STAB.
With that said it's always nice to see a new champ. This bracket is Indy's to win if they want it. Kellam vs Indy could be an interesting game if Kellam can slow it down. If not Indy will run away with that one in similar fashion to the Riverside beat down the last time they played Kellam. Would have to think Kellam will win most if not every faceoff. Freeman has not looked great down the stretch but may have enough to get by Briar assuming they knock off PH on the road.
Going with Indy over Briar 11-9 in the Final.

one of those teams that is always a good team, and finding ways to make it to a state final frequently. I think they beat Langley in a close game, but still are clear winners. The interesting game is there matchup vs Cosby… I have no knowledge on the first game between those two, should Robo have won?
So weird that Rob wasn’t doubling with their goalie out of the crease late against WP. Got to imagine they’re installing it this week in practice. Maybe they’re just not used to playing from behind
Gotta go with the hot team playing at home. In regionals Langley beat a very good Chantilly team by 7, beat Madison on the road, which nobody expected, and beat Yorktown by 10. Robinson had two easy games, and then a loss to West Po where they looked pretty bad. It is bizarre that they did not try to get the ball late in the game. It's true that Robinson has a history of winning big games and Langley losing them, and this year the trend seems to be reversed. Robo found a way to lose to West Po and Madison, while Langley found a way to beat both of those teams, plus beating Robinson itself. Robinson has dominated face-offs the past two years, but this year Langley has owned the X. It will be a good close game, and the data points toward Langley.

Little late to this but Langley would absolutely dog walk Indy any given day of the week. Argue with a wall.
I got Indy blowing passed Langley with ease. We will find out soon enough.
With Indy moving up to 6A next ear they can decide it on the field then.
Langley needs to get it done this year. Losing their whole defense to graduation.

what are the matchups?
Gainesville @ Cosby
Robinson @ Langley
Yorktown @ West Potomac
Deep Run @ Battlefield
Cosby in a laugher
Langley in a pick'um
Langley in another close one.
WP over YT +2
BF over DR +6
BF over WP +3
Langley over Battlefield +3 for State
Lot of ball still needs to be played but if all 4 1 seeds win, who gets the home games in the semifinals? Same if both 2 seeds win?

Indy Briar and Riverside would be in the mix for sure but there's no way to know where they would fall. Personally I don't think either team would be able to handle a 6A schedule. They're both too undisciplined to consistently win big games against well coached teams. They struggle both with Riverside every year because of this. 6A has significantly more depth in this department.
Riverside would be in the mix because they are a well coached program with a history of winning but anyone who watched them this year knows the talent just isn’t there to win it. It’s amazing the run they had. 6 state championships in 7 years is incredible, but I only saw 3 offensive players that could even generate scoring chances. I am not sure what is coming back but it looks like it’s the end of an era in Lansdowne.
