Why is it an option, not necessary, if they are claiming it is part of Essential Concepts I,II,III that all students will take in grades 8-10?
Some kids take this class in middle school. Now it isn't even a graduation requirement?

If Essential Concepts I-III are going to cover pre-algebra through algebra II, then essential concepts I will have to have some of algebra I (or maybe geometry?) in it, and in that possible pathway option they do have essential concepts I for 7th grade. Sounds like having Algebra I for 7th grade now.
Military families would still have to navigate how to transfer those credits on a move, but at least tracking stays in place.
Whether they go with some of the other dumb ideas like demphasizing drilling even more remains to be seen.

They held their freaking convention at Liberty University.
Rs supporting education? Such a joke.![]()
Hard pass.
Does their education plan include teaching everyone that they are various shades of victim/oppressor by birth and eliminating educational rigor? I don't care if the Dems hold their convention at Hampton if their vision is crap.
Come up with a better defense.
What’s wrong with Hampton?
Still waiting to hear what is wrong with Hampton.
My bad. I forgot how many of y'all are mentally slow.
Republicans holding a convention/other event at a joke of a university does not invalidate their education platform.
If Democrats hold a convention/other event at a respected university (Hampton in this case) it will not make their anti-rigor agenda any more valid.
The platform is the platform the agenda is the agenda the policies are the policies wherever they meet to discuss, solidify, and choose a leader to advance them.
Read that however many times it takes for you to understand.
That’s cute you think the GOP has a platform.![]()
Or is lying, cheating, complaining a platform. The GOP hasn’t accomplished anything in recent years. They can’t build or fix anything. They just want to tear it all down. Including education. Vouchers, etc.
I haven't read their platform yet. Now that they have chosen their tributes I can spend some time looking into them.
I know you party cult members don't understand the concept but some of us actually judge candidates individually.
I am a moderate and never voted by party lines until 2016 and the subsequent GOP sh1tting on the Constitution.
I will never vote GOP ever again.

Write better next time.
It's not my fault you weren't taught proper reading comprehension or that you are completely unable despite the best efforts of your teachers.
