They play in virginia soccer league inc their best team is u13 they won their first round in state cup 10-1 against cville united fc
I know exactly who this team is. The play against a lot of other club's B-teams in VSL and yes they are from the Newport News area. They will get smoked by Alexandria next round in state cup. I will guess 12-0.
So uh extremely upsetting in the state cup vafc beat alexandria 3-1

Red IS their MLSnextvteam. White is the 2nd team that does President's cup.
They no longer play possession. They ling ball to the recent 2 big kids. It’s not like their team of yesteryear. They sold out and it doesn’t work.
On the MLS next schedule it says the game was postponed

Ya, it was penalties. Arlington's keeper played off his rocker. He stopped all three penalties Beach took. Two were upper 90 shots. Good on him.

Ya, it was penalties. Arlington's keeper played off his rocker. He stopped all three penalties Beach took. Two were upper 90 shots. Good on him.

Right. These were scheduled at the same time, so you are just wrong unless they cancelled their mls game to have their top team play in the round of 16.

Yeah, I just don't get that one. That WV team is closer to Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh than it is to DC or Richmond even. There is no win win for them or CCL.
Pretty drive to the West Virginia, though. Lot of wineries if you want to get sloshed before taking in a kids soccer game.
