Florida is not Kentucky.

Exactly, that was my point. Demings is a great candidate and is polling within the MOE. She’s a much better money suck than McGrath. But the party organization in Florida is terrible and the Rs are in charge of everything, so her chances still aren’t great.

So the Florida race isn’t comparable to McGrath so stop saying it is a similar waste of money. Kentucky was alway a long, long shot. Dems would have won half a dozen other seats before that one. Florida is always in play. It has big cities and liberal enclaves. You don’t have to convert hillbillies or rednecks to win Florida. You have to turn out all the young voters and black voters and non-Cuban Latino voters who live there. Florida is worth an all out effort especially with the Republican dysfunction there now.

NP here. PP is correct, the Florida Dem party is terrible and will most likely squander this effort. I'm rooting for Val but Florida is super corrupt so I doubt a Dem could win unless the vote went overwhelming to D.

I've not heard much talk on Tim Ryan. If Sherrod Brown can win, Ryan can will if he has enough money and the Ohio Dems don't screw it up.

I never said that but there’s lots of blather on Twitter about it.

Looks like Dems will gain three or four seats.

Money is not sufficient to win a race.

See amy McGrath and the black Kentucky dude that’s getting a lotta money again this cycle.

Where is Warnock’s numbers? What’s NH look like?

Dems rest on Warnock and NH.

Warnock raised $5.7M in 1Q and $7.2M in 2Q. He hasn’t reported yet but that should be a big number. I haven’t seen Demings or Rubio report either. Hassan got $3.25M last quarter but hasn’t reported yet either.

Sounds good.

Warnock needs every penny.

People giving to any other race outside of Warnock, Hassan, and fetterman are idiots.

Mark jelly doesn’t need money - he’s a fricking astronaut navy dude.

Why do you like Fetterman better than Lamb?

I’ve run congressional campaigns in PA outside of philly and Pittsburgh so I know politics in that state better than most beltway people.

Fetterman has way more crossover appeal by a huge amount in all parts of the state.

If I wanted someone polished like lamb, I might as well as go for Val arkoosh from philly burbs.

Dems in disarray!

Check out the whole thread - incumbent Ron Johnson barely cracked $500K.

GOP doesn't need to raise any money, they have FREE promotion through RW "media" outlets, millions will pour in from dark money groups, and they have rampant voter suppression laws & gerrymandering.

Don't be smug, don't be complacent. Organize, donate, volunteer.

Who's smug and complacent? I just get weary of the "Dems lose if we lose and if we win we REALLY lose" narrative. It's exhausting. For all RWNJs' complaints about the media being against them, it sure feels like the media is out to piss all over Democrats no matter what sometimes. Sometimes it's just nice to see Fetterman getting a lot of $.
