At least this guy has the defense that he made a bad decision in the moment. You all are knowingly harassing innocent people over a period of days. That HAS to be the case because they can't all be guilty -- at least some of them have to be innocent. What defense do you have for your behavior?

For all you know none of them are the right guy.

Somebody on DCUM is describing an assault committed by a white man, over Black Lives Matter flyers, as "a bad decision in the moment."

Damn you, Poe's Law.

Generally speaking, pre-meditated actions are more morally blameworthy than impulsive decisions.

Doxxing innocent people and shaming them publicly for crimes they didn't commit (and that HAS to be the case because they've done this to multiple people so some of them have to be innocent) is more cruel than jerk biker's behavior.

Again, he's bad. The Twitter doxxers are just even shittier people.

Which means she may well be a teen. Doesn’t really matter given that regardless of her age, she is very clearly a very small, slight person being attacked by a tall, bulky, extremely aggressive man.

The guy grabbed her arm and wrestled something out of her hand. Let’s keep that in perspective when we consider this “attack.” It clearly is wrong, but people are acting like this was a vicious assault.

The word attack doesn’t need quotes around it. Vicious or not, it was an assault. And people seem to keep forgetting that he also physically attacked the guy filming.

It appears that he may have attacked the guy filming, but it’s not clearly exactly what happened. Calling what happened to the girl an attack seems a little misleading given what attack usually conveys.

The comments about him wrongly accused and it being ok because he's white so he needs to experience what others do in other groups is horrific. Racism is from every group and people don't realize they are creating more of a divide than bring people tougher and their hate is equally if not more wrong as they should know better.

No one knows what, if anything, happened before the video starts, right?

You know who else should feel shame and guilt? This guy. For assaulting a child. For having an anger management problem.

Quit moving the focus to people identifying him or the litter or whatever. That is not the issue here.

Did you seriously just defend this lunatic and gave him a pass for assaulting a child??? I have never, ever, ever lost my cool like that with strangers. He needs to seek help for anger management and suffer the consequence for what he did. Geez!!!

I'm glad everyone is looking for him. The innocent people will clear their name in a minute and go one with their lives.

They’ll get on with their lives, assuming a reactionary nutjob like you doesn’t harm or kill them.

I didn't defend him. I said you are an even worse human being than him. That's very different. Your response reaffirmed my post.

Sounds like you're defending him to me.

You are a lunatic just like the cyclist. And you're talking to more than one person BTW.

You are a very callous person.

Callous because I want justice for the kids who were assaulted by this angry cyclist?? You are out of your mind.

You really think the police always go straight to the perpetrator? They talk to many innocent people before they identify the one they are looking for.

He was wearing bike shoes.

It's silly to fantasize about what you would have done, if you'd been there.

That guy is in pretty good shape. He definitely looks fit, and is clearly a gym rat, in addition to cardio from the bike.

Get over yourself. White people as a group aren’t responsible for sheltering him. You sound like a raving racist.

Another false accusation!

Twitter really needs to start banning people who are doxxing innocent people without proof.

I do want to say kudos and thanks to the moderators here for silently deleting the prior posts that named and shamed what turned out to be innocent people.
