You said that before Trump was elected. You promised that the market will crush and that we will be all doomed. Last 3.5 years was a blessing and I hope we will have another 4 successful years.
This is the GWB administration all over again. Seriously it’s like you are immune to learning.

This just made me puke in my mouth.
Bon appetite!

Perhaps it is an unfair generalization, but in my experience white people have a pretty profound sense of entitlement and usually completely unearned confidence in their own abilities and their own superiority.
So what's a basic latino, south asian, black american, arab lady like?

I’d love to know as well.

Sad that intelligence from a black man makes you wanna hurl. Stupidity from Trump makes me wanna holler.
Unfortunately he played the race card in a way that is detrimental to the black community.
Instead of being the role model of hard work, focus on education, personal responsibility and persistence, he taught the black community to blame white people for the poverty, crime and lack of opportunities in their communities.
excellent point!!
Uh...white people ARE to blame...

Who are you even talking to? Regardless, don’t pretend you’re so lofty and above knowing that Rose McGowan - and plenty of others - claimed they would move to Canada if Trump won, and none of them did. Surprise, surprise.![]()
No one knew this or cared, you tried to make it a thing in this thread, no one knew or cared what you were talking about. Just because you wallow around in celebrity gossip don't project that onto others.

Trump supporter here. I chuckle a bit when I see comments like this, knowing that I have friends and family who are Trump haters who really don't know where I stand. I let them rant and nod my head, but mostly try to steer the conversation away from politics. How will you know when you get to 100%? When it's just you and your cats?
You're ashamed to own your vote publicly, and you should be.
DP. You misunderstand. The PP isn’t “ashamed” of anything. S/he simply knows when to stay away from crazy. Weren’t you ever taught not to discuss politics (or religion) in polite company? Or maybe it’s just that the company you keep isn’t polite.

Nobody but my husband knows I’m voting for Trump. I like to nod and smile along with what the liberals I know say, so maybe they think I’m one of them. But I’m most definitely not. Politics just isn’t an appropriate topic in public, and I do get a kick out of knowing exactly what I’m going to do when no one else does.

For normal people, political views are a private thing. Only those who enjoy picking fights deliberately engage.
Stop trying to normalize Trump as regular "politics".
When the Trump and the GOP sh1t on the Constitution people take notice. It's not just "politics".
And people talk about it. Quite a bit. If you sit there quietly drinking your wine without saying a peep, we know.
This statement is interesting to me.
I work in what could be considered a liberal industry, with a lot of young, liberal people. I am a die-hard conservative and a Trump voter. It's interesting at times, but we all get along great at work and even socialize some on the weekends.
But I NEVER discuss politics with any of these people. If other people do, I either sit quietly and say nothing or change the topic to something we all agree on. I have never once had a problem with interacting with any of these colleagues and in fact like almost all of them a lot on a personal level. They invite me to their events, too, so I know the feeling is mutual.
Are you saying that they "know" that I'm a Trump voter?
+1. Yes it usually fairly obvious.
FWIW I am a liberal and have no problem with quiet Trump supporters, socially. Just had lunch with a good friend yesterday- pretty obvious to me she is a Trump supporter. Neither of us bring up politics, so it’s fine. But yes- we know. So what? I don’t see why you would care, unless you feel it is something you should be ashamed of..
DP. That’s the point - we *don’t* care who knows and who doesn’t. It was a PP or two on this thread who was just aghast that we didn’t make our political views known. And our response was, why should we? Political preferences are a private matter and don’t need to be announced.
You'll keep telling yourself that. You Trump supporters can't deal with even acknowledging your shame. But we know and think less of you.
This is different than any time before. This time, so many lines have been crossed that I can't respect you. Not one bit. And, of course, you will come back with something snide about how you don't care what libs think or how you revel in disturbing the libs blah blah blah. Whatever. We don't care what you think, either.

A lot easier to be around.

I personally have never met a subtle Trump supporter. They are so proud of themselves and their president. They don’t realize that this goes beyond politics- the ACA was politics, this is about destruction of the Republic.

Everybody knows you are a Trumper, lady. Everybody.
Why? Because you have been projecting your ignorance for a long time, and we tolerated you out of politeness.
We don’t say anything when you make negative generalizations about black people or immigrants or complain about how your taxes are too high for no reason or how government workers sit around and do nothing because you waited too long at the DMV or how you always say “so much for global warming!” every time it snows or some weird comment about how Obama hates white people or we saw one of your books from a Fox News contributor on your coffee table.
We didn’t think about you too much because you just seemed on the lower spectrum of intelligence for basic white ladies but believe us, we know exactly who you voted for.
Not the PP, but wow do you have anger issues. I’m so glad I don’t have anyone like you in my life.
Not really but it’s good to know I hit a nerve!![]()
Oh yes - you really do. Acceptance is the first step towards healing. Be well.
You had a lot of time to come up with a better comeback than a smug “be well!”!![]()
