in UTAH.

dmn

just for comparison:

President
CANDIDATE PARTY VOTES PCT. E.V.
Donald J. Trump
Republican
515,231 45.1% 6
Hillary Clinton
Democrat
310,676 27.2 —
Evan McMullin
Independent
243,690 21.3 —
Gary Johnson
Libertarian
39,608 3.5 —
Others
34,396 3.0 —
100% reporting (2,214 of 2,214 precincts)

And normal, non-Trump Republicans win Utah by 45 points, not 5.

“A new CNN poll shows the former vice president leading Trump nationally by 13 points with voters older than 65. Trump beat Hillary Clinton by 7 points with voters older than 65, according to exit polls.”

The striking fact is that Trump’s rating holds steady around 44% no matter what. W’s ratings went down to 25% at one point.

I’ve noticed that too. It seems statistically unlikely.

There is a large ratio of Trump voters that are not objective in their support, come hell or high water they will approve and support again. Any deviation of % in these polls are almost always in the role of the swing voter. That group has gotten larger, more diverse, more neglected, than any other vote and has made these polls much more unpredictable in recent years.

Trump is 13 points under water on Rasmussen. Rasmussen!

I mean, if you are still with him at this point, you are part of a shrinking minority.

The funny thing is, he could have been on top of Coronavirus like the South Koreans, and basically ridden the "victory" to re-election, with impeachment deep in the rear view mirror.

Instead...

The problem for Trump is that he's now alienated the small business owning community. They were the backbone of his 2016 victory.

The PPP is rife with problems and small biz's won't get the money until it's too late. Unemployment checks don't seem to be coming either.

This Administration has made 1 million thriving American small businesses insolvent in the matter of three weeks. That's insane. And they will not forget this calamity.

I wish they'd stop doing these national polls. They're pointless. We know that you can win popular vote and still lose in the EC. Let's see what the polls look like in 8 states or whatever that are considered battlegrounds.

Here you go:
“The data created below is calculated from the 538 polling database. The polling average are calculated by combining the national polling and pvi with state polling averages.”
