05 MA had a pretty poor showing in the South Carolina Showcase last month. Not one team finished in the top 20 and most of the teams were in the bottom 3rd. That being said, the way the brackets worked, teams were playing other teams of similar caliber. For example, the top MA team, South Carolina, lost every game but those games were against the top teams in the country, including PDA, which has smashed every team that it has played, including FCV and PennFusion.

McLean has played a pretty competitive schedule and was a finalist in the competitive top bracket at JeffCup.

We will see how these teams perform at Nationals but I assume even if they do well, this crowd will not give McLean credit.

Yeah, driving 2 hours to get repeatedly punched in your face is a great learning opportunity. Real growth coming from all those hung heads.
