Girls wore tshirts, no team jerseys. No numbers handed out. They will have the girls go through warm ups. They then had them do small sided games - 5v5. They mixed ages together and current players mixed with tryouts. They then moved to 11v11 on 1/2 field.

They are doing rolling offers. Players with offers / accepted will not be there just current MU and new try outs. Good luck!

My daughter attended a few. They did not all wear the same color. Did wear numbers initially anyway. Were mixed 2006-2007. Yes drills. I don't recall 1 v 1 but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Yes small sided mainly.

Did they cancel the ID sessions for tonight? i don't see a 5/17 one on website anymore. did anyone go last night and confirm one way or ther other? what are the times if so? TIA!

This is the correct answer. Stop posting a-hole responses that incorrectly state MU players aren’t good, it’s just not true. There were a few who weren’t ready for this level on Spirit VA this past year, and due to the club changes they shouldn’t be returning next year. MU could definitely use players who aren’t coach favorites elsewhere, wasting their talent on the bench. As someone alluded to in another post, it makes the entire region stronger for the best players to find starting positions at all of the elite options vs loading very good players onto benches at a few of those options.

In sum, if you’ve ever been told by Jimmy (your coach) that your play is embarrassing or an embarrassment to the DA, as a very unlikely example, you may want to look elsewhere for another opinion.

It's not to recruit. We have enough on the team.

It's because I know there are girls out there that want to PLAY. They are disappointed week after week in either not making a roster, not starting, or being pulled after half or less than half of the game. One club's opinion of a player is not the ONLY opinion. We see it with professionals. They may not be of value to one squad so they join another. I posted what I did because of the never ending garbage on this thread, which appears to be from FCV parents, based on some errant posts, but maybe not.
