They share player pools. That said, everything being said here is hyperbolic gibberish. These clubs are about to basically trade players and coaches. Both will survive, just like every club in this area survives. And neither will thrive, just like nobody in this area thrives, because of said animosity. The SYC cultist may continue shouting into the void here, telling us about the greatness of Este or the evil of Lula, but come tryout time, players from both clubs will be walking the other direction. And conversely, the LMVSC side will keep saying everything is ok, but fact remains that a few coaches are leaving and probably taking teams with them. Two medium sized travel programs will remain two medium sized travel program and the dick measuring contest will continue.
SYC also shares player pools with BRYC, Burke and Alexandria. Possibly Annandale as well.
All the fuss on DCUM is not real life.

I have never heard of any animosity. I don’t recall ever playing LMVSC so not like there is a rivalry. They are close proximity for some SYC players.

Maldonado sees this as an area with huge potential, “For me, it all begins at the recreational level. For most players that’s the doorway to more competitive avenues, and so our goal is to begin development there, and then work to retain our talent. We’ve already hosted six coaching education courses for coaches in our rec program. We believe education is important, and see that it is tremendously helpful to helping retaining our players.”
I was told that no one from SYC's travel program to include Harry or Este attended their Rec coaches meeting. If it was important, wouldn't they included the Rec side to their big moves?

Yes anyone that knows youth soccer knows this is a major blow for lee mt. I hope they survive this
Is this sarcasm? How does being in CCL impact decisions on where parents would have their kid try out? I can tell you in our experience about 98% of parents don’t know anything at all about soccer let alone anything about the league we play in or its benefits.
So far I haven’t seen any significant changes in training. We are going to get destroyed in CCL at this rate.
What club are you referring to? Why would the changes in training impact how you will do? If from LMVSC are you saying you'll be destroyed because you are losing players?
