Read any article talking about the wall being built and pushing people further out into more dangerous areas trying to cross. It works. Immigration advocates are actually upset about the wall being built for this reason.

Congress made compromises, as people do in civil societies and democracies.

a few weeks ago one of the migrants broke their back trying to jump the wall where there was an 18 foot secton. The wall works. I doubt many will be trying it after her in that section.

It is trivial to break into a car. Many criminals, however, only go for low hanging fruit and will only pilfer or steal your car if it's unlocked. Same with houses. Locking your doors and windows is a minimal barrier. For most, that minimal barrier is sufficient.

Yes, walls and fences work and that is why the SS requires one around the homes of former presidents and those they protect. The SS is not stupid. They know what works.

And, yes, President Trump has barriers around his properties. He also knows they work. That is why he is fighting to get the funding for a physical barrier.

And, all the drones and technology in the world won't work without a physical barrier. It is really that simple.
Drones help identify people who are heading toward our border.
We knew of the recent caravan of migrants heading toward our southern border (and we didn't need drones for that - they came with their own film crews). The only thing that stopped them from crossing our border and harming our border agents was.........wait for it.............A PHYSICAL BARRIER!!!

Now, we need such a barrier along those areas of our border that remain unprotected by one..... it will indeed help prevent people from entering illegally. It will also help with the flow of drugs, human smugglers, and criminals across our border.

It is difficult for many of us to understand why liberals have such opposition to a solutions that has proven effective.

If you don't understand the difference between a national border and an individual's property then you are beyond help. And does Trump not have a fence around Mar a Lago and his golf courses? Do the White House and Naval Observatory not have a fence?

Not the PP, but you've missed the point. These people have walls around their property precisely because they work. They may not be the total solution, but you dont leave your property unfenced/unwalled if you want to keep uninvited guests out.

Walls and fences however do work which is the point.
