Especially when those teams were formed when ECNL and FCV were the only options for top players. Those teams will of course be strong. Different time, different situation.
Show us some quality wins against quality opponents if you want our respect.
You don't get it. They don't care about your respect. They only care about trying to recruit a few players that will help them get the results they seek. They have been doing it for years, with teams that were "inferior" to Loudoun teams. Maybe this year is the year it ends, but I wouldn't bet on it.
You don't get it either. If you think the FCV 07 team needs just a few players to help them get the results they seek, I know for a fact that you do not know that team.
Aren't they ranked No. 3 in Virginia with 80% win rate? It does not seems like the team is struggling.
They are not playing in the top brackets of tournaments. Winning against lesser teams while it gets you points doesn't mean they are not struggling.
They beat McLean, which is ranked No. 2 in Virginia. Is McLean a lesser team?
Good job. Now look at the out of state teams Loudoun Red has played. Those are the quality of teams we play. That should clear things up for you on why FCV is a step down for us.
But you lost to McLean and you lost in WAGs tournament, right? It's not like Loudoun are the world beaters so stop bragging about the quality of teams that keep beating you!
Yes and yes. We finally get to the heart of it. Loudoun Red does not run away from playing the very best teams, even if we lose. FCV does. FCV would rather enter their top team in the second bracket of second rate tournaments so that they get a trophy. We would rather play again the best teams from Ohio, MD or Texas. Even if we lose. We call that development. That is why FCV is not for us.
If you are looking for development, Loudoun might not be the right club for you. How many youth national team call ups did Loudoun players get in any age group? Do Loudoun teams do well in ECNL? I am still looking for evidence of their player development.

One win does not mean you are better.
Loudoun Black also beat McLean but McLean beat Loudoun Red. Does that mean Loudoun Black is better then Loudoun Red?
Rankings are not that useful.
Loudoun 06 is ranked above FCV 06. Are they a better team? Absolutely not!

Yes, Loudoun Dad's insecurity is (once again) showing. I guess I get it as he probably grew up playing baseball and doesn't know much about the game.
That is the funniest post yet. Go ahead and compare who your DD’s team beat this year vs mine. And you think I am insecure? LMAO.
