You better poll heterosexual men on that score if you're trying to date one. Generally speaking, short hair to me adds 10 years to the woman's appearance.
That depends on your ethnic/racial group. Long hair is know to add age to a white woman's looks.
I look 10 years younger with a new pixie cut (I'm 40). I'm also short and long hair just weighs me down.

Yes, these subjects are important, but I'm completely under the impression that too many women over 50 are not interested in anything but their (mostly) failing bodies. It makes me sad, because I know some awesome single men in their 50s and 60s who have a tough time being attracted to women their age. (Not that it's a hard rule or anything.)

I am a 52 yo male and agree 100%. The majority of women my age have mostly "given up" on their femininity. The few that haven't are unbelievably attractive to me. There is nothing hotter than a mid-50s woman who is fit, dressed like a lady, with a non-butch haircut. That woman is waaaay more attractive to me than her 32 yo daughter (who might even be a fashion model).
What is a non-butch haircut? Why not just say long hair?

As did I my friend. Never again. You only have to read this board to know how many married women will happily stop participating like they used to once in their 50s. That's fine, you make your own choices. I choose to be with younger woman. I deserve it.
51 y.o. woman here with 40 y.o. boyfriend. My drive is higher than his. There are plenty of late 40s and 50+ women who are still plenty interested. My last boyfriend, who was 5 years older than me, had a very high drive. I was happy to meet him on that level of frequency. There are exceptions to the generalization that women are not interested.

Based on last 40 years, I’m going to say YES.
