Hair thinning is common for women too as they age. This is why most older women don’t sport long hair when they get older. They can’t. Their hair is too sparse for a luxurious mane. Older women are not cutting their hair short just to appear unattractive and old

I am a 52 yo male and agree 100%. The majority of women my age have mostly "given up" on their femininity. The few that haven't are unbelievably attractive to me. There is nothing hotter than a mid-50s woman who is fit, dressed like a lady, with a non-butch haircut. That woman is waaaay more attractive to me than her 32 yo daughter (who might even be a fashion model).
What is a non-butch haircut? Why not just say long hair?

51 y.o. woman here with 40 y.o. boyfriend. My drive is higher than his. There are plenty of late 40s and 50+ women who are still plenty interested. My last boyfriend, who was 5 years older than me, had a very high drive. I was happy to meet him on that level of frequency. There are exceptions to the generalization that women are not interested.
+1 I am dating two 30 y.o. men and generally prefer men under 40. May have to pick one but for now it is working out just fine. Men around my age, 50+ maybe interested but many have not taken care of themselves physically and have ED and other health issues. It isn't just women who let themselves go, are not interested or can't perform.

As an over 60 man, my tastes remained the same. Like you, in my 40s, I was attracted to women in my 40s. As I got older, I was still attracted to them, just as I am now. I got older, the women I'm attracted to did not.
