No way.
Until that point that’s what I was thinking. Whiny Kevin making dumb decisions. But as it moved towards the field scene. ..you start to see how ppl have objectified him since high school. He gave a terrible speech and still had cheers and fans. The field was him explaining the context of all his success and failure. It’s constant ups and downs. The ups are great but then he feels pressure. He doesn’t deserve good opportunities, but they land in his lap, each one bigger and better. He’s sabotaging it each time because he knows he’s done nothing to deserve it.
+1. We are starting to see how insecure he is and how little he thinks of himself.

I'm with you. I'm sick of sweaty Kevin spiraling down week after week. He's just a cliche right now for me, whereas many of the other characters are far less one-dimensional.

Anonymous wrote:I was hoping the woman Kevin slept with would figure out what was going on since she’s a doctor. But also so glad he didn’t sleep with the high schooler!

I still think Mandy Moore is doing fantastic with the role of Rebecca. She is such a believable actress!
Agreed, I mean she is playing a mother opposite people her own age in half of the role and its pretty damn believable.
Agreed. Moore is actually nearly a decade younger than Brown and Hartley in real life, and 4 years younger than Metz.
We like her in This is Us, but since our kids are of a certain age, Moore will always be Rapunzel to us!
Huh?? MM is 33, JH is 40, CH is 37 and SB is 41 so the ages aren't that far off.
