"Gus" sounds like someone's old alcoholic uncle.

That's funny because we watch almost no TV other than news. We have no cable or satellite or other TV service, we just watch HD TV over the air when we do.

We had no idea about the Dexter TV show until after we picked the name and several people mentioned it. It was just a name we liked. Spencer was mildly suggested because I do like some old Hepburn/Tracy films, but I haven't seen too many of them.

Other than Spencer Tracy, Spencer for Hire, Dexter Carrington and Dexter the serial killer, where else are these names on TV? I really have no idea.


Even though some of the comments have not been flattering (Dad to Spencer and Dexter), I think this thread has been one of the most fun threads I've seen in a long time. Thank you to the posters with the wry (and radar-like) sense of humor. Keep them coming!
