Richard Dawkins says he's agnostic--because he feels like 99% atheist, but there's that niggling 1% uncertainty. Not that humble is a word I'd use to describe him, but rational seems apt.

Sure, I'm willing to bet there are other atheists here. But here's the point: I doubt they agree with your obnoxious approach. In fact, a fellow atheist was complaining about you just a few pages ago, and how you made other atheists look bad.

And "many" atheists? Really? Sure, you guys are really loud, and you guys post all the time. (Some day, one of you can explain to me why atheists seem to be more obsessed with religion than believers, but that's a a sidetrack from our discussion here.) But 3-4 people being loud and posting all the time doesn't equal "many."

I agree, ranters are so boring. I think only the ranters think they themselves are interesting and witty (and 15:04 is probably RA but logged off).

And did RA really not absorb anything about "your" vs. "you're" from the last 21 pages of this thread???? If the ranters are really dumb, this makes it so much more painful.

ranting in general is annoying. People who rant cannot discuss. A late famous ranter that comes to mind is Kim Jung Ill. All around annoying blowhard.
