Not dirty at all (he also does latchhook Christmas ornaments when he has idle time--they are liberal about what we do when we are idle, we are IT support), he has narrow fingers and his nails are thin, but somehow icky. Last fall he asked our group if he should shave his head or his beard, and a few of us said he should cut his nails instead. The other thing is that he will come up to you from behind and touch you ever so gently on the back or shoulder to get your attention, which always startles me.

Sara works on the other side of me and is super weird (although to be fair, totally good at her job and willing to help others). She has "office slippers" that she put on every afternoon after lunch. She ate CONSTANTLY through the day, and always foods that crunch. She watches Youtube videos at her desk. We thought she had a pet bird but she alluded to having an OWL as a pet. She is also hardcore into Harry Potter and her entire cubicle is decorated in Harry Potter stuff. Most people have a couple of pics of their kids, something tactile to play with and maybe flowers or something.

At the end of the interview she offered me to get a candy form the bucket. I declined politely. She looked at me disapprovingly.
I did not get the job.
are you sure you weren't supposed to donate money for the candy?
although that'd be weird, too.

Her desk is filled with boxes and bags of skittles, jolly ranchers, swedish fish, etc. Its also never chocolate or caramel, just the artificial fruit colleges. During meetings, conference calls, check-ins, you can count on her to be snacking on some candy. The only time I've ever seen her eat "normal" food is at company dinners or when we have lunch buffets. She also is fairly fit with white, straight teeth which makes it even more peculiar.
She once told me that when she was in college, she did not have a meal plan. So inorder to fill herself up, she would eat candy and drink water all day. Based on her seniority, she must have graduated at least fifteen years ago. I guess some habits stick.
OMG I know a woman like this, too. She is also slim, attractive, and has good looking teeth. But on every Zoom call--quite a lot--I have been on with her she is constantly eating gummies of some sort. She orders those huge 5 pound bags of various gummy bears, worms, etc. from Amazon Prime. It's crazy.
