Got an email on receiving the application for appeal. It did say June 5th as decision day.

Post marked 4/30 and just got my email confirmation this afternoon with the June 5th information

I was able to see from my USPS tracking number that my package was delivered at their main office/mail room earlier this week. Mine is postmarked 5/1. I am guessing it would take some time to get an email receipt

I'll just say I also haven't received an email and I brought my envelope into the post office on 4/28, so it's postmarked on time and since it's only going across town should be there by now....
Maybe they are looking at the ones received by a certain date first?

We got the same email someone else posted above saying that the committee received our appeal and we would hear a decision via email on June 5.

That is such a great idea. I don't want to drive myself crazy either thinking about the result of the appeal. It already hurts thinking my DC did not get in, in the first place for no rhyme or reason despite of being in the pool, high scores, HOPE, etc. Couldn't find a reason that was transparent to me.
I plan to not think about it but instead have fun with him. Yes, healthier, happier certainly. No matter what the outcome is, I tell him I am proud of him.

Really helpful re: June date.

Instead of spending time wondering if my kid got in every day, I’ll use that time to play soccer with him. Healthier and happier for both of us
