House retirement news - Rep. Dan Webster R-FL will not run for reelection. Webster was first elected in 2010. He had publicly cautioned his own party *not* to redistrict Florida's Congressional map.

New York’s 4th district is one of the few place where Republicans could flip a seat in November and they still effed it up. Anthony D’Esposito, the GOP guy who lost two years ago in part because he was employing both his fiancée’s daughter and a woman he was having an affair on the Congressional payroll, took too long to decide not to run and left them in the lurch. He’s staying on as the Inspector General (!?!) at the Department of Labor and they’re left with a town tax collector with zero campaign money to run for the competitive seat.
