Yes, 23 pages trashing someone in an anonymous forum is absolutely normal. What’s wrong with these people?
The thread is about the departure of a large number of faculty and staff in a short period of time. The head's leadership is what's being blamed. That's not cyber bullying.
Anonymous wrote:You said it yourself, you have no connection to the school, so you think the "just leave" advice is helpful and best. A lot of people have left. But many have chosen to stay because they don't believe the new leadership should be allowed to ruin all that is great about the school.

I get that you don't believe me, but recognize the possibility that the HoS has been an abusive and dishonest leader for two years toward many of her employees.

Pretty normal with the change of leadership. There’s always a few disgruntled teachers or parents that think they should come here and raise hell. if you’re so upset with the leadership, you should go right into that head's office and have that conversation with them without the anonymity.
That's easy to say sitting at your keyboard. However, as has been noted here and in numerous other threads, the administration is reactionary and vindictive.
My hope is that this year will bring a different approach. The last two years were appalling.

Anonymity is what's wrong with these people.
Ironically, it's also why the school seems to be doing just fine despite these few disgruntled people doing their best to do damage. Nobody really believes the outlandish claims you read on these threads.
But they sure are fun to read

Anonymous wrote:Current parent here who was in a meeting with outside consultants last year with about 20 parents (across grades and diverse) that would’ve been appropriate for people to air grievances. However, more than half the room said they were happy with the direction of the school and Penny‘s leadership in particular.
And they did air grievances about a few specific things (wanting to build more community is an example). I was actually very surprised given what I’ve read on this board and it was a good reminder that this is an anonymous forum that does not always have th total story.

Fire the HOS! Her speeches are too long! The horror!
