Terrible coach/person. Wouldn’t have either of my kids play for him. No clue why Arlington still has him on staff. He was pulled off the last team he had at the club before the end of the season and wasn’t given a team to coach this year. My only hope is that he attended additional training on how to work with/train kids and that is why he is being allowed to coach again.

He is a fine coach with kids. He got pulled off this team because his assistant coach was working under him in more ways than one and the parents of the Golden Team thought that was inappropriate. Good coach, just likes trim. Probably still with the club because they work on a contract basis and didn’t want to breach.

Oh no one care who’s working under him. That definitely was not why he got pulled off the team. But hoping they sent him to trainings and will shadow him for a while to make sure he didn’t do more damage.

Every parent who the coach didn’t start their kid didn’t play them in the “right” position or moved them down will bash the coach on here and at the same time every parent who’s kid grew and improved will tell you how great the coach is. We have had coaches who we couldn’t stand and the parents next to us loved and vice versa.

I disagree. I think more information is always better. Some coaches and clubs on here almost everyone dislikes. That's valuable info for a consumer.

Are we still talking about JO, U12 boys coach for 2026-2027?

If two PE teachers at your kids middle school taught together and were dating would you think that’s creepy also. I don’t see the big deal. One isn’t in charge of the other or sets salary. Way different then a coach parent or coach player relationship. I’ve know lots of people that date coworkers.

wouldn't want someone with no impulse control and such poor professional judgment coaching my kid. Especially girls! Creepy.

TBF thats is unprofessional and shows lack of focus. Heard he was a great coach otherwise. Hopefully he learns from mistakes. And with that team that was a wild gamble.

If my kids coach was hooking up with the assistant coach, I would find that wildly inappropriate and unprofessional and would wonder what other poor judgment the coach exercised.

Search for comments on Arl 2011 girls Ecnl parents. That will give you a better idea of why he was forced out. We had him for super y and kid really liked him.

You’ll be happy to know he’s running the show at TSJ, apparently he’s bringing a bunch of players and coaches over to save the program.

He’s bringing TSJ players to save Arlington?

Talking about two different JOs.

💡

Ahhhh - so is the JO that is a “terrible person” who had a team yanked from him the person at TSJ and the one coaching U12 Boys is okay? Or was that earlier comment also about the U12 boys coach

Can't speak for the flamer. My positive impression of Arlington JO stands.

Thanks - really appreciate it!

Agree- he is a great coach.
