You're not serious. The time for that to have happened would have been when he was in the hospital recovering from the stroke. Fetterman will change party affiliation or run as an Independent in 2029. He is only 56-yoa, but I really thought he was in his mid to late 60's until I Googled him. Yikes.

A two-term Democratic governor, Ms. Mills called herself “battle tested” in an interview. But she faces a Democratic primary before she can challenge the Republican incumbent.

Here is another Democrat running.
A communist.
Sounds bad! Sure don’t want the federal government buying large stakes or taking golden shares in major US companies!

Isn’t Maine including its cities/towns basically rural?

This is only going to make Mainers love him more. He says what’s on his mind. Like Trump.
— signed, a Mainer
he says that rural Whites are stupid, but from his photo he appears to be one - what am I missing?
A lot, apparently. Along with his past comments, he sports a Nazi tattoo. And he is not the working class guy he is being promoted as.
I had at least assumed that the Democrats "working class hero" with the inconvenient Nazi tattoo was in fact real working class-- but no, he's just another guy from a fancy background whose father was a prominent attorney and whose grandfather was a famous architect.
He briefly attended Hotchkiss, one of the fanciest New England prep schools.
The fact that the Dems and their media allies were pushing this guy as working class just illustrates how completely actual White working class men have abandoned the Democrats.

Has anyone heard Platner speak? He's good. He has a shot.
So democrats are going full communist?
If nothing is going to happen after Young Republicans are caught flying SWASTIKAS in their office, then spare me the pearl clutching over this crap.
Also, lol at thinking “communism” or “socialism” are scary words, as if we’re still living in the 1950s. Capitalism hasn’t exactly been working out well for the average person lately.
Are you talking about this incident?
The "GOP hill staffer" who is actually a Democratic activist? LOL.
And, go for the march toward communism. You think the Democrats are polling in the toilet now? It can get worse. And, it will.
Funny how he didn’t display swastikas until he started working for a GOP congressman.
Nazis sure do love MAGA. MAGA leaders in turn like to wink at Nazi beliefs and symbolism (but always in a way where they can quickly deny it). Young Republicans discussing gas chambers and making vile racist and anti-Semitic comments when they think no one’s looking. Stephen Miller borrowing heavily from Goebbels during his speech at Charlie Kirk’s funeral. The CPAC stage shaped like a Nazi rune. Elon’s salute. The TPUSA summit that attracted neo-Nazis. Trump’s “very fine people” on both sides.
As for “polls”, lol. Trump’s approval ratings are in the Marianas trench. Dems have been winning special elections. The mask is coming off and the American people are seeing MAGA for what they truly are.
