Guys calm down you can decide on a case by case basis if you want to send your kids to school or keep them home. Even for high schoolers vying for a spot at UVA it's just not that serious.

Is the forecast still for the snow to start mid day? I just looked at the radar map and see blue (snow) in the western part of the Centreville area already.

Ours did (WSHS) shortly after FCPS sent the announcement.
Our admin tends to be on top of things though, so maybe all the schools did not.
No we did not get a schedule. I have a freshman.
Check the school IG. Ours posted it there.

If we only get a little bit of snow, maybe. If we get more than a little bit, then one day of 40s or 50s won't magic the snow away in an afternoon. It will definitely make a lot of ice overnight though.

Yes it’s two different storms. Today is snow. Wednesday it becomes sleet/ice/freezing rain wintry mix. Thursday may take care of a lot of it so we will be back Friday but we will not be back Thursday.
