At what point do people say enough is enough? The FOMO is driving all this.

People also need to realize, lax is very political, itā€™s not always based on merit. Money talks and relationships matter. Your last name is as important as your play on the field.

Just look at 4 of the last 5 overall ranked players in each grad class.

This is accurate. Itā€™s just math. The portal didnā€™t create a net loss of spots on rosters. It could impact specific schools based on their unique needs.

The pattern seems to be these showcases and clinics start out exclusive and then a year or two later they expand because they know they can make a lot more money so they include a lot more girls making it more difficult to be seen and less of a real recognition of talent or opportunity. And girls are going to 4 or 5 of these a summer. JO, AS, AA, BIC, Nilly, HHH, etc. Itā€™s getting ridiculous. And weā€™ve done them and fallen for it so not criticizing anyone.

I agree, a lot of these players need to realize that, not sure why they don't. They had better soon.

Also need to remember all these coaches know each other, so even if you were playing on a team at HHH that you didnā€™t want to be on, I bet you that Coach knows the coach of the school you really love, so donā€™t burn any bridges, and you never know who knows who.

I heard HHH doubled in size and went from 30 to some 60+ colleges attending. I also heard all the girls that were at the clinic got paired up with a school versus last year many got dismissed after the clinic without an invite. Agree with this. The host clubā€™s players got the best teams and other girls got randomly placed. All of the coaches were busy coaching their teams - not watching 27s on other teams. Not sure it was worth the $$ and time.

We are 6 weeks out, summer club is over.

I gotta say, Iā€™m feeling nervous. Those early interest lists seem years ago. Although she has got interest the last few weeks, lots of target schools on her list have not reached out to club.

Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

There wasn't for the 27's. However, several posters claimed they'd heard there were going to be shakeups for the 28's directly from Cap affiliated peeps. Stay tuned.
