Have things changed that much since when I was a kid? When I was HS (which was a long time ago) once you got a college acceptance the HS was going to work with you to make sure you went in the fall. I don’t think I turned in a single assignment my last quarter and they still past me - I had friends who skipped so much school that they had to get their cap and gown at graduation and they went to ivies

For Ivies you need to maintain a 3.8 GPA after your verbal commitment to "the process"
