It's not an improvement. Americans are going to ignore "weird" as well. They just don't care about it. They're interested in the top of the ticket and the policies.
If Project 2025 reflects Trump's future policies, then everything written by former Obama and Biden officials, as well as every Democrat think tank, must be attributed to Harris.

Weird.

1. Kicking 30% of people on Medicaid off. 1 in 3, it will either be you or someone you know.
2. Raising income taxes by 3%-8% on people making 12 K -200 K while cutting corporate taxes and capital gains for high earners.
3. National abortion ban, contraceptives ban and IVF ban.
There are plenty of other despicable things in 2025 but those three will ruin peoples lives in red and blue states.

“Those people . . . ” Donald said, trailing off. “The shape they’re in, all the expenses, maybe those kinds of people should just die.”
Pretty weird sh*t to say.
Well, he said it about his own nephew. Which is whatever is way worse than weird.

I do think I’m above you, so you’ve got me there. I don’t think it’s that people are insulted, it’s that you’re supposed to be the party of acceptance…so the irony is interesting. That people are supposed to be tolerant, but only of the people you deem worthy of tolerance.
I actually love this thread. If the biggest “issues” with Vance are screwing a couch or dolphin, and Trump having an affair or going into a locker room a decade ago…I feel awesome about their chances of being elected.

I think of the word weird as being a quirky, interesting person (a la “Keep Portland Weird”) and love “weird” people. Calling someone weird in a bad way feels like what we’re trying to get away from - bullying, othering, shaming for being different.
Now that said, bullying, othering, shaming for being different is exactly what the Republicans do - call it what it is. Not “weird.”
Most normal Americans don't want weird politicians. We want boring, capable, and ethical politicians who do not have their nose buried in their bizarro Twitter feed for 8+ hours per day (literally a lot of Congress critters are reading Twitter that much per day and are OBSESSED with their engagement metrics).
We don't mind when they are weird but good - you know, eclectic weird, interesting weird - but when they are the kind of weird that makes you think they'd hold you hostage in their basement for your own good, that's a different story.
So you admit you’re a hypocrite.
Not that pp, but when someone thinks that Hannibal Lecter is actually real, newsflash, they are weird.
When someone tries to control the movement of a hurricane with a Sharpie, they are weird.
If you aren't embarrassed you raw dogged a porn story while your wife was having a baby, you might be weird.
And so on.
A lot of people are a little weird. Trump is a whole lot of weird.
What does that have to do with his ability to run the country? Or do you only vote for people if you enjoy their memes?

Again, the issues are being discussed all over the political forum, but you only want to "TaLk AbOuT tHe IsSuEs" when we point out how f**king WEIRD these guys are. Go cry somewhere else, snowflakes. If hearing this is too uncomfortable look at who you support.
It's a little difficult to take your faux outrage seriously when the left has no issue with biological men walking freely around lockers rooms with women and sharing their restrooms.
Actually, it's Trump (a man) who was freely walking around women's locker rooms. If you read this thread, you'll see this was linked several times. So it is you hypocritical Republicans who have no issue with biological men walking in women's locker rooms. get your facts straight
Trump bragged about it. A 50-something year old man spying on naked 15 year old girls is pure sick pedophile behavior.
