Wed. High of 102
Th. High of 108 (not a typo-one hundred eight)
Frid. High of 107
Sat High of 105
All the people posting how it doesn't feel that hot in Southern California were being ridiculous.
It is insane that Pomona with an endowment of 2.8 BILLION dollars and a cost of attendance (tuition/room and board/expenses) of $89,414 for freshman does not have air conditioning in all dorms!

Mine wanted a roommate and wound up in a single basement dorm next to the bathroom without AC in CA at college that can more than afford to put central AC in. Beyond pissed for the amount of tuition and desire for roommate. Souring us on the school before we even arrive!
So many kids would kill for a single. Find the college incoming freshman group on whatever social platform they use and offer a swap.
Yup! I would guess she'd have NO problem swapping with someone. Singles for first years are as rare as hens' teeth and generally desired.
most kids do not want singles. that’s just false.
DP.
Quoted just above is total B.S. I cannot think of any student who wants a roommate, almost everyone wants a single, especially with the current crop of undergrad students.
Is this a cultural thing? People with an Asian background or international students might have more of an expectation of privacy? I would think your typical American teenager expects to share a dorm room and bathroom in college.

Maryland is not California.
Maryland is hideously humid. CA is not
It’s not humid but it is hot. It’s been in the 90s at Pomona this week.
And at night it goes back to 60-62.
