The republicans are not voting for it, so it doesn't matter. There won't be any more legislation this year anyhow. So hanging the albatross on the GOP is the right political move.

Every child born should be a wanted child and a loved child. Parents should know that child will be fed, educated, and have basic healthcare as an American citizen. Many of society’s ills would be improved if this country gave a darn about families over profits.
