Hope AOL sends a update or a email giving current state of waitlist.

There are kids who are on waitlist and pinning hopes on it- Any status update/ overview of the current waitlist - would be a great initiative by AOL.

Looks like not too many seats are opened this year that’s why AOL waitlist is not moving much

Academies gets notified of TJ acceptance within two days, and the returned offer goes out in a day. So by end of today or tomorrow, expect an email if your student gets lucky.

This makes sense, but I don't think it was a coincidence that a student got an offer to AOS off the waitlist the same day as TJ offers went out.

Many factors affect AOS/AET waitlist movement, not just TJ acceptances.

Maybe parents can hold off their decision when LCPS calls for the confirmation

You will find waitlist moving slowly at Academies due to no deadline for acceptance.

Most of the folks who accepted TJ also accept AOL and wait till the last minute to inform academies. There is no automatic sync between FCPS and AOL.

Some of the folks do not consider updating the admission office of their non acceptance and their seat is left in limbo till a day before first day of school. To your surprise - these make good amount of accepted offers

Any movement on AOS waitlist?. We didn’t hear any offers after TJ deadline

Other than that there are a ton of enrichment centers that teach stem subjects like math, english, and science, over multiple years starting in elementary.

What are you looking for a lottery training business or stem enrichment centers like Curie ?

They help with the TJ application essays, and AOS/AET still has subject tests.
