That is a lot of positions considering that we are getting toward the end of May. Do they need to be appointed by a certain date?


If they don't have a new appointee by July 1st, they name an acting principal.

OOF. Ms. Nesmith was not my all-time favorite but MCPS is not doing SCES any favors with a constantly rotating principal situation. That school desperately needs someone to stay more than 2 years in order to build some continuity.


I think her whole career had been in MS and HS positions, so maybe she preferred to go back to that.
