Unfortunately, none. One is potentially anti-ventilation, according to this thread.
Maybe the fitness guy will be better on health stuff in schools
He sits on SHAB according to his website. Maybe he is the ventilation guy?
He joined SHAB the same week he decided to run.

Miranda's relentless learning loss platform seems pretty out of touch when kids are DYING.
From her announcement email the first issue listed: Our Mental Health Crisis
Three weeks ago, issues of mental health and substance use in APS were brought into sharp relief. Parents and community activists had been sounding the alarm, but it took a tragic loss and other traumatic events to bring full community focus and the necessary urgency to these concerns.
So what have I been doing?
On the Friday Wakefield closed, I joined in a march of love and support organized by ASHPA leaders.
The following Monday, I and the rest of Green Valley Civic Association executive leadership heard from ACPD and began discussing ideas to support Green Valley students and residents, a discussion that continues.
At the recent Arlington Dems Second Saturday breakfast, I sponsored the event and coordinated a moderated discussion on mental health in our schools, featuring a county board member and an Arlington Schools Hispanic Parents Association (ASHPA) leader.
There is much more to do. Our upcoming budget cycle must prioritize mental health and APS needs county support. APS must have a concrete plan for in-school safety and communication with parents. I will be following these issues closely.
so she marched and discussed and will follow the issue. meh, get back to me when there is real action and commitment.
That’s a pretty good start for someone who’s not even in elected office yet. Organized a forum, listened to other voices in the community. We need the county and APS to work together more on these issues. Impressed she’s talking about it.
eh, it's a way to look like she is doing something without really doing anything. we dont need lip service. i looked at her website on this and its just word salad.

Oh good lord. So, let's review, we have
- the leader of a divisive lobbying group in Arlington who has no other relevant leadership experience
- a PTA president who a lot of people didn't seem to like
- a young upstart with political ambitions and no real ties to APS

APE-light is right.
I meant that Erin's and Miranda's platforms are NOT so far off from each other. Are we sure they are not the same person?

Miranda and Erin are interchangeable. I don't like either of them at first glance. More of the same.
The child looks better and better. I don't care if he's not an APS parent. I care if he understands the system.
hahaha, love that you call him a child in one sentence and then imply that he understands "the system."
it wasn't my post but i think my children understand the system better than many adults
and would be better school board members too!
Get a grip.
Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed!
Some school systems have a student rep on the board. APS doesn't. I think APS could use that perspective. Kids know a lot and have great opinions.
Do you understand the difference between an student rep and an actual board member? I'm not sure you do. I do believe that your kids understand the system better than you.
Since APS doesn't have a student member, maybe the 22 year old is the next best thing.
If he had gone through the APS school system himself, had siblings still in the system, was local, or had a preschooler ready to start here, any ties at all… then maybe. Since he’s an outsider intending to use this position for his own short term gain, with absolutely no stakes here, the answer is a resounding NO.
normally i would agree with you, but we have such bad choices this race. is there anyone else running?
